ECOLEA A6-P Leather Watercolour Sketchbook

3-oz natural upcycled full-grained vegetable-tanned, Italian cowhide leather cover, watercolour sketchbook in A6 portrait format.  

The paper block is comprised of 46-page, 190 gsm, 100% cotton, cold-pressed Saunders Waterford watercolour paper from the eminent English St. Cuthberts Paper Mill.  The paper is a medium weight, wet-media sketching paper specially made for watercolour and acrylic painting.  Each signature of the paper stock is meticulously hand-stitched and bound to perfect alignment.

The sketchbook's robust leather cover design and page-marker ensure decades of use without slackening or unravelling.  They are entirely made by hand - a time-honoured method in leather crafting - to ensure durability.

Natural grain pattern, unique to each hide, can be seen on the leather and will acquire a beautiful natural satin lustre over time.  As the leather protects the paper stock for decades, the value of the sketchbook increases when artistic contents are deposited.
