ARKADEMIE launches the SINGAPORE BICENTENNIAL Limited Edition Collection on 6th February 2019, exactly 200 years the Singapore Treaty was signed between Sir Stamford Raffles, Sultan Hussein and Temenggong, establishing the first British Settlement in Singapore.
This journal features a laser-etched quote in a letter by Sir Stamford Raffles written to the Marquess of Hastings in 12th August 1820, affirming the British Settlement in Singapore was of significant strategic economic and geographic value.

Genuine, 3-oz full-grained, vegetable-tanned cowhide leather is used to make this journal cover. The book sections are fully and meticulously saddle-stitched by hand - a time-honoured method in fine bookbinding, ensuring durability and flexibility over time.
