ARKADEMIE Bespoke Medieval Notebook Cover

Custom-designed and handcrafted book cover in medieval style with brass closure.  Natural, 4-oz vegetable-tanned buffalo leather cover with hand-debossed pattern.  Soft, goatskin lining, hand saddle-stitched using waxed threads onto cover, ensures durability and flexibility of the sleeve.

The pattern on the cover is inspired by the cover of the book St Cuthbert Gospel of St John, made in the 8th century, and probably "the earliest surviving intact European book and one of the world's most significant books" according to the British Library.

Made-to-order.  Completely customizable with design pattern and choice of leathers, subjected to availability of the leather stock.
